How long until I receive my order?

Orders placed with StepsforPets.com ship out within 3 to 5 business days unless otherwise noted on our website.  Unfortunately there are times when unforeseen circumstances cause items to go on backorder status.  When this happens we will promptly notify any customers that this directly affects.  Once shipped orders spend from 1 to 6 business days in transit with orders going to the West Coast taking the longest.

How are your Cat Condos made?

Our cat condos are made of real wood plywood and are covered in either faux fleece or faux fur depending on the model ordered.  Faux fleece and faux fur are specially designed materials made just for pet furniture.  Made with your pets comfort in mind, your cat or cats will soon find a new favorite place to nap and you will regain use of your favorite couch or chair.  Also all of our posts are wrapped with 100% natural sisal rope which will provide a great alternative for scratching for those cats with claws (no more damage to your furniture).

Does my new cat condo require assembly?

Our cat condos do require assembly which takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes depending on the model that is ordered.  Each unit comes with detailed instructions with pictures and the only tool needed is an Allen wrench which is also included with the order.  Assembly is easy and can be done by one person (and a little feline help).

Which condo is right for my cat?

Cats differ and there are a few factors that you need to consider when deciding which piece of cat furniture is right for your cat(s).  The first thing to consider is size.  If your cat is a large cat or if you have a number of cats than a larger condo with more perches and places to climb makes a great choice.  If the condo is too small than your cats will find it hard to stake out their own special spot and may not use the condo as often.  If you have just a one cat family smaller condos work great and your feline friend will find that their new condo is a great place to hang out.  The second thing to consider is the activity level of your cat or cats.  More active cats need a larger condo to enjoy as they will find many levels of play area and also the larger condos provide more stability for active cats.  If your cat is older and less active than smaller condos make the perfect addition without the need for multiple play areas.

Is the pet step easy to move from place to place?

Yes, our pet steps are light enough to move from place to place, but heavy enough to stay where placed when being used by your pet.  The Two-Step Pet Step weights approximately 20 pounds, the Three-Step Pet Step approximately 26 pounds, and can easily be moved from bed, to couch, to any other location needed.
